I suppose I should edit this post and tell you what that all is. Tonight was experimental sauce night.
Win: parsnips in modified Millennium moroccan marinade. I didn't have quite their ingredients so I improvised. It was delicious.
Fail: broccoli in three cheese white wine sauce. It was more like broccoli with melted cheese on it. I have no idea how to make this sauce and did not bother consulting any recipes.
Draw: avocado, potato, and whole wheat cous cous with green curry almond sauce. Tasted pretty good, although I would follow my instinct next time to add coarse chopped almonds to the dish. That of course would still not fix the problem: it looks bland. Needs color!
Wine: random Californian chardonnay courtesy one of my roommates. Was quite drinkable, thankfully!
